On Friday, April 5, AGC of America President Paul W. Diederich announced the appointments of five members of the South Florida AGC.
Matina DeRosa of Turner Construction was appointed to the Federal Acquisition Regulation Committee.
Mark Meranda, also of Turner Construction, was appointed to the Corps of Engineers Committee, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Committee, and the Government Affairs Committee.
Charles P. “Chip” Reid of Current Builders was appointed to the Corps of Engineers Committee and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Committee.
Brian Trusky of Moss and Associates was appointed to the Safety and Health Committee
David Wessin of Coastal Construction was also appointed to the Safety and Health Committee.
Members who wish to serve on a national committee and can expend the time and costs of traveling should first consult with the national AGC website agc.org and view the various committees available, then call Len Mills at the AGC office, who may be able to get an appointment this year and most certainly next year.
